Sarah McGovern
ABOUT SARAH
Sarah McGovern is an LA based stylist with a decade of experience working in print, television, video, and event styling. She started out working in New York City cutting her teeth with designers and iconic photographers the likes of Arthur Elgort, Sante D'Orazio and celebrity stylists Patti Wilson & Philip Block. Music is a huge inspiration for Sarah and she has worked on videos and print with musicians and bands, including as in-house stylist for SONY BMI new talent division.
THE JOURNEY
I was lucky enough to start working for a small independent women's designer as a summer job after graduating from NYU. The small boutique and showroom in the East Village
of NYC was revolutionizing the way women wore jeans.
That summer, I became a permanent part of the small up and coming designers team.. working in every facet of her business. After that, I never looked back, I began working with other designers, on fashion shows, dressing bands and styling magazine editorials.
I've always loved using clothing and styling to create different realities that empower and transform people.
